I work for a construction site. I work as a trainee and don’t know much about the work profile. Initially when I joined the company I was amazed at the heavy vehicles used at the construction site. I was very curious to know about the different machines and its uses. As I was new to the field I hardly knew about the safety measures which were to be taken while working. To kill my curiosity and to make me work efficiently my manager suggested me WHMIS Training. WHMIS is Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System. According to the Canadian jurisdiction, employers should develop, implement, and maintain a Workplace Hazardous Information System program. I was lucky to undergo this training on this site. It helped me to work safely with hazardous chemicals. I understood the instruction on requirements for labels and data sheets. On this site I learnt the hazards of certain products. The training helped me to learn about the techniques to face the workplace mishaps. This safety course made me tough and it also made me aware of the important things at the work place. I could develop as an employee and learn many new things with the help of this course. I would strongly recommend this course to all those who in risky environment. This website provided me a better insight about the workplace hazards. I was elated to receive the certificate. It was passed to me within no time. This was the most interesting course I underwent.
