I remember when my daughter was 6 years old and she adored me to pieces. She would come home from school bursting to tell me everything. She even used to wear my lipstick and modeled my big hoop earrings and high heels. We always laughed aloud every time she does this. She was the cutest thing in the world! I could not talk to her anymore. She just shut me out of her life. It was truly heartbreaking. I really tried reaching out to her but she just ignored me every time. In my desperation, I talked to my fellow moms, they gave me advices. I tried them all but still in vain. So I searched online for solutions. And that was when I found this magazine for Moms of Tweens. When I first saw it, I was like “Oh my God! This is it!” and I was right. It was a very helpful magazine. They offered a lot of tips on how I could approach my daughter. They even featured the latest games, fashion and entertainment that young girls dig these days. It was truly informative. It allowed me to understand my daughter’s interests. Because of this, I was finally able to communicate with her effectively. Our relationship is back to best friends.
